March Add On's

Easter is on the horizon and with it comes a few add on's to our March calendar. After talking to Pastor Steve our Easter skit became a Palm Sunday skit. The plan was to do two skits so all youth groupers would be involved. One during worship and one prior to the egg hunt. After talking that over we decided it would be too much. Help will be needed for the egg hunt and we would be in several directions and trying to do a skit. So, we will be doing just a worship skit titled Parade for a King. Four actors are needed and parts have been chosen. The script will be handed out during our study this Sunday February 24th and we will talk more then. There is allot to memorize however we are going to give everyone a prop so the script can be hidden. But please have the kids review it through March and up to Palm Sunday so they become comfortable with their parts.


Here are the additional dates to add to our March calendar.
Ash Wednesday dinner and discussion March 6th at 6:00. We will meet in the youth lounge for dinner and attend Ash Wednesday service at 7:00. 

Skit rehearsal Sundays March 3 March 17 and March 24 following worship

Saturday March 9th will be movie night at 6:00

We will be helping to fill Easter eggs for the egg hunt as well. We are thinking March 24th however that date will depend on Penny and the Deacons because candy has to be picked up.
