Mission
To enhance congregational awareness of the work of ministry at home and abroad, both PC (USA) General Mission projects and those not related to the denomination (e.g. the Romanian Orphanage Project; Gideons, Int’l, etc.), to organize separate mission appeals and special mission offerings, to make recommendations to the Session regarding General Mission expenditures/pledges (in consultation with the Financial Stewardship Committee), and seek to set guidelines and/or standards in evaluating mission projects and causes for support by the church.

Food Pantry
The FPC pantry was installed during the covid pandemic as a way to continue to help our community while following state protocols. Donations are GREATLY appreciated. Public donations can be dropped off directly in our pantry at any time during the week. The pantry box is located on the bank side of the building across from their drive through. A list of suggested food items can be found below:
Meal kits that don't require extra ingredients
Kits that include canned meat, canned sauce and pasta all in one box are great choices. This means the person receiving them can make them without having to purchase additional ingredients.
Pancake and muffin mix that only require water
Special treats or easy breakfasts are much needed and appreciated, and one of the simplest is pancake or muffin mix that only requires you to add water. Mixes which require additional ingredients, such as oil or eggs, sometimes make it more difficult for a person or family to actually make the food item.
Canned soups and pasta meals
Canned meat
Canned fruit and vegetables
Pantry items such as Flour, sugar, cornmeal, rice, oil, shortening, baking soda and powder, vanilla extract, garlic, pepper, salt, chili powder, etc.
Shelf stable milk, juice boxes
Household cleaning supplies and paper products
Toilet paper, paper towels, bleach, sanitizing solutions, sanitizing wipes and basic cleaning supplies.
Feminine hygiene products
Maxi pads, tampons, panty liners and even feminine wipes.
Baby diapers and wipes
All sizes of baby diapers and wipes (unscented is best) can be useful for those families with infants and toddlers. Additionally, things like baby wash, shampoo and diaper rash cream or new unused bottles.
Socks and underwear
Socks are vital to those who are homeless and out on the streets, but clean underwear is another choice that people often overlook. From kid to adults in all sizes, this is a great choice for donating. Please purchase these items new for donation, not used!
PLEASE. DO NOT LEAVE PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS OR ITEMS IN GLASS CONTAINERS. WE DON'T HAVE THE SETUP TO ACCEPT ANYTHING FRESH OR PERISHABLE AND DON'T WANT TO THROW ANYTHING AWAY THAT IS GOING TO SPOIL OR BECOME DAMAGED.
