Bad Art Night
Open to elementary through high school 6-6:45 create! 6:45-7 art setup and judging Sculpture, Painting, collage… There are two rules.
Have you ever been surrounded by people, but still somehow felt totally alone? The presence of others doesn’t always mean the absence of loneliness. But for believers in Jesus, that’s where fellowship steps in! When we truly spend time building relationships with others, we’re living in true fellowship. And as this verse shows us, it comes as the result of living in the light with God. It doesn’t matter if you’re quiet or loud, shy or outgoing, love big groups or small groups, you can find fellowship and unity with others when you’re connected by the love of God. This week, pray that God would give you opportunities to get to know and connect with others who believe in Him. Even though we know God’s forgiveness is ours to receive, it’s sometimes not easy to offer that same forgiveness to one another. The pain and hurt we feel when wronged by someone else makes forgiveness the farthest thing from our minds! In those moments, remember that forgiveness is ours to offer to others just as freely as God offers it to us. And not only will it help the other person, but it will set you free as well. Is there a person in your life that you are struggling to forgive? Pray that God would fill your heart with forgiveness toward them.
